The NEC T09A2 tape library is an entry range data backup solution which offers a
cost-effective and space efficient data protection for SMB and organizations with
limited rack space to automate their backup processes to reduce the need for manual
intervention and the risk of human error. It offers both high data storage capacity
and highly reliable robotics in a compact form factor.
The NEC T09A2 tape library offers also you protection from loss of data with a minimal
impact on the operation of your IT system – regardless of the size or complexity
of your application and storage environment.
The NEC T09A2 uses an advanced bar code reader to register the location of LTO bands.
It is equipped with one removable magazine, and is capable of storing up to 14.4TB
of data in only 1U of rack space.
With its integrated remote management feature, the T09A2 tape library allows you
to make reliable backups without monitoring. The management can be made either on
the LCD screen located on the front of the library, or remotely, via an intuitive
web interface, via any browser. The configuration, control and diagnostic operations
are also simplified.
This open solution is compatible with the main backup software such as; Symantec
Backup ExecTM and BrightStor ARCserveTM and is integrated within most operating
systems, including Microsoft Windows and Linux.
