Dieses digitales Videoarchiv erlaubt das schnelle Entladen und sofortige Wiederverwendung kostenintensiver bandloser Speicherkarten (P2, SxS). Ihre Clips können schnell archiviert, mit Schlagworten versehen und wieder aufgefunden werden, wobei sowohl SD- wie HD-Inhalte unterstützt werden.

Von allen verbreiteten Videoformaten berechnet das System automatisch Vorschau-Clips mit geringer Bandbreite, die ohne gesondert zu lizenzierende Client-Software auf jedem Mac- oder Windows-Rechner im Netz durchsucht und betrachtet werden können. Selbst das Time-Code-basierte setzen von Meta-Daten ist mit dem proxSys MA möglich. Bis zu 2500 Stunden dieser Vorschau-Clips hält das System ständig online bereit, wohingegen die hochauflösenden Video-Daten beim proxSys-Einstiegssystem auf Blu-ray-Medien abgelegt und bei Bedarf vom System angefragt werden.

Auch unterstützt das System automatische Blu-ray-Roboter und zur automatischen Sicherung Ihrer Daten auf optischen Medien mit einer avisierten Datensicherheit von über 50 Jahren. Ein Anbindung des Systems an Schnittplätze unter Final Cut Studio und/oder Avid ist möglich.
