Der AV-HS 400 ist ein kompakter Video Mischer für HD und SD Videoquellen. Er verfügt über 4 HD/SD SDI Eingänge in der Standardausführung und läßt sich durch 5 verfügbare optionale Eingangsboards - u.a. analoge Komponenten und DVI - auf bis zu 8 Eingänge erweitern. Der eingebaute Frame Synchronizer erlaubt eine einfache Systemimplementierung und mit Hilfe der Up-conversion von SD Signalen (Option) ist ein Mix aus SD/und HD Quellen möglich. Eine Multi-Screen Vorschau Funktion erlaubt ein Monitoring von PGM, PVW, und Eingangssignale auf einem Monitor. Zusätzlich zu den Basis Effekten erlaubt ein eingebauter 2D und 3D DVE, Effekte sowie Chromakey, DSK, und Picture in Picture Funktionen für kreative Videoproduktionen.
