Durch die vielseitigen Anwendungsgebiete eignet sich der HVF-C30WR ideal für Kameraprofis, die in den verschiedensten Branchen arbeiten: von Fernsehen über Kino bis hin zu Verleihfirmen.

Der Sucher ist mit einem 2,7-Zoll LCD-Display ausgestattet und verfügt über eine Auflösung von 960 x 540 Pixel. Ein flexibles mechanisches Design macht das Wechseln zwischen Objektiv und Sucher nur selten notwendig, was gerade bei der Verwendung mit der F23 oder der F35 von besonderem Vorteil ist.

Weiterhin lassen sich mittels der 2fach-Vergrößerung (Pixel für Pixel) diagonale Kanten ausgleichen. Helligkeitswerte werden über eine Farbscala kontrolliert und ein Farbverstärker sorgt für perfekte Aufnahmen. Mit Luminance Transition Improvement (inklusive panel gamma compensation) und 3D LUT Farbraumkompensation erzielt der HVF-C30WR eine natürlichere Leuchtdichte und realistischere Farbwiedergabe.

Darüber hinaus bietet der neue Sucher eine Bildumkehrfunktion und drei verschiedenen Farbtemperaturen (6.500 K, 5.600 K oder 9.300 K). Ein neuer Mechanismus schützt das LCD-Display vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung und mit Pol- und IR-Cut-Filtern lässt sich störender Sonnen-Einfluss weiter vermindern.
