The Fast Forward Video sideKick HD is an easy camera-mountable recording solution for an ease production workflow. Capture your video on the removable 2.5" SSD drive from HD/SDI or HDMI outputs at up to 220Mbit/s, with 10 bit and 4:2:2 sampling. Using SSD Drives without any moving parts minimize the risk of drop frames due to shock or vibrations even in extreme enviromental conditions. Outputs are hot regardless of input being HD-SDI or HDMI so you can input HD-SDI and monitor via HDMI simultameously or HDMI in to HD-SDI out.

The sideKick HD is shipped with a 128 GB SSD drive, USB drive cable and an AC adapter so the customer can start immediately out of the box. Depending on the video format that is being recorded, sideKick HD with an 128 GB drive will give you about 70Minutes (ProRes 422) or 1 hour (ProRes 422 HQ) of recording time.
Fast Forward Video is constantly integrating new codecs for their products. Codecs updates can be easily done via the Fast Forward web page (www.ffv.com). The regorded files will be put down on the disk as part of a FAT32 disk format and will be replaced with .mov files.
