The AJ-HPD2500 P2 HD recorder/player offers full 10-bit, 4:2:2 AVC-Intra and DVCPRO/50/HD
recording and playback with extensive production features, versatile connectivity
and optional AVCHD transcoding.
The rack-mountable recorder features multi-format 1080/720 recording, cuts editing,
live video up-conversion, 24p time code input, audio/video and IT connectivity -
with audio/video feature enhancements tailored for truck and facility operation.
Designed for use in mobile truck, broadcast studio and production facilities, the
HPD2500 is equipped with six P2 card slots, a 4.3" LCD display and an editing
control panel. The recorder mounts easily into existing infrastructures of sports
trucks and broadcast studios. The recorder's interface offers a full range of A/V
IOs (HD-SDI, composite, SD-SDI out) to support a variety of applications from line
and studio recording to editing, transmitting and archiving to synchronizing dailies.
With its eSATA, USB and Giga-bit Ethernet (GigE) connections, the HPD2500 can serve
as bridge between file-based systems and existing baseband video workflows. And
now with optional AVCHD compatibility, users can transcode content to AVCHD for
distribution, storage and playback using low-cost SD memory cards.
It supports 1080p, 1080i, 720p HD formats and frame rates including 1080/24p (30p/25p)
native recording and 1080/24PsF input/output (in HD-SDI mode), as well as 480i and
576i (DVPRO50/25, DV). Additional features include digital AES/EBU audio (8-ch),
two-channel XLR monitor outputs, enhanced thumbnail display functions, and a remote
encoder.
