Properties:
The Alpha 1 is a professional full-frame mirrorless camera and rounds off Sony's Alpha series in the high-end sector. The camera is equipped with a high-quality Exmor RS™ CMOS 35 mm full-frame sensor with an effective 50.1 MP, as well as the BIONZ XR image processor, achieving outstanding image resolution at a high processing speed. Familiar from the PXW-FX9 and VENICE, the cinematic S-Cinetone™ colour matrix for impressively realistic skin tones is also found in the Alpha 1. The camera supports output of video up to 8K Full UHD at 30p (7680 x 4320 pixels) via HDMI, or recording of video up to 4K DCI at 120p onto two CFexpress Type A or SD cards. It is also possible to output 16-bit RAW with a full screen size of 4,332 x 2,448 pixels via HDMI. For heat dissipation in processes with such heat generation, the Alpha 1 is equipped with a sophisticated magnesium housing. This allows for over 30 minutes of continuous video recording (at 8K/30p or 4K/60p 10-bit 4:2:0). A dynamic range of 15+ is achieved via the S-Log3 gamma curve and 10-bit HLG and can be played back directly on an HDR (HLG) compatible screen without colour gradation. The hybrid autofocus combined with the silent and vibration-free shutter release, as well as the 5-axis image stabiliser, enable razor-sharp shots from any angle. The Alpha 1 is powered by the supplied NP-FZ100 battery or USB-C.
