Properties:

The VENICE 2 is the latest addition to the renowned CineAlta camera VENICE in the high-end range. The camera is available with a powerful 8.6K sensor or a 6K sensor and convinces with brilliant recordings and impressive low-light characteristics. Further features are the now integrated RAW recording in a very compact design, ProRes recording, an excellent colour management and an internal cooling concept. The wide range of formats, which also includes Super 35, allows for a multitude of freedoms on set. The camera has been specifically designed for large productions where great emphasis is placed on a distinct cinematic look. It allows internal recording in 4K ProRes / X-OCN, as well as high-speed 8K 60p recording on the new AXS memory cards with a transfer speed of up to 6.6 Gbps. The 8-stage ND filter system familiar from the VENICE is also integrated in the VENICE 2 and continues to enable quick and easy changing directly on the camera. The changeable Dual Base ISO of 800 - 3200 (8K sensor) or 500 - 2500 (6K sensor) allows the use of less lighting in complicated lighting conditions on set. The VENICE 2 8K supports full-frame 8.6K x 5.8K 3:2 up to 30 fps and 8.2K x 4.3 K 17:9 up to 60 fps video formats. The new zoom-fit function also allows full-format 3:2 to be displayed on 17:9 screens without black bars.
