Properties:

The Video Assist 7" 12G HDR is a professional 7" 4K field monitor and recorder for monitoring and recording video signals up to 4K DCI at 25 frames per second. The field monitor has a WUXGA touchscreen LC display with a brightness of 2,500 nit which is suitable for HDR (HDR10, Hybrid Log Gamma). The monitor has a 12G-SDI input, a 12G-SDI output, an HDMI input and an HDMI output and can therefore be used flexibly on the set depending on the camera system. The recording takes place as ProRes or -DNx in YUV 4:2:2 10-bit on up to two separately available SD cards. Output via one of the video outputs is also possible. For professional audio, two balanced 3-pin Mini-XLR sockets with switchable phantom power are available, which provide crystal-clear sound due to the -128 dBV background noise. The Video Assist 12G HDR is powered either by the supplied 12V AC adapter or by two separately available li-ion NP-F batteries. The USB-C connection serves as a computer interface, for software updates or for connecting an external drive for recording. The Lanc port allows the use of timecode.
