The STEERING P70 is a professional pedestal with an extendable height from 80 to 125 cm (31.5 to 49.2 in) for studio and OB camera applications. The pedestal is designed for a weight of up to 75 kg (165.3 lb). It has a central air column which is filled manually or via a compressor with compressed air for maximum stability and smooth movements. A compressed air valve for pressures up to 132.3 psi (9 atm) and a locking brake allow smooth camera movements. The pressure inside the column can be manually adjusted for the weight of the camera configuration used via the outlet valve. The pedestal comes with a steering dolly with three sets of durable and individually lockable wheels made of two-component polyurethane. This allows better control even in crab positions. For use, a separately available adapter is required depending on the video head used.
