The Lumix S 70-300 mm F4.5-5.6 MACRO O.I.S. is a telephoto zoom lens with a focal length of 70 to 300 mm at a speed of F4.5 - F5.6 (wide - tele). The lens features powerful image stabilisation and is also Dual I.S. compatible. The sophisticated 17-element, 11-group design is engineered for high resolution to the edge with low distortion and space darkening. The lens is particularly suitable for macro photography.

The L-bayonet lens mount has a diameter of 51.6 mm and is suitable for cameras with full-frame sensor and APS-C sensor. The camera bayonet is made of high-quality stainless steel and prevents tilting for a tight fit of the lens. L-Mount has a very short flange focal distance of only 20 mm, which means that complex retrofocus constructions can be dispensed with.
