Features

The integrated HF Charger with it´s sophisticated control electronics insures that the NiMH-Cells cannot be overcharged even if the belt is left connected to mains power long after it is fully charged. In addition, a low voltage electronic fuse protects the cells from deep discharge, so that the maximum usable lifetime of the cells is guaranteed.

Another valuable point is that even if the cells are drained after numerous years of use, the belts are constructed in such a way that cell replacement is easy and economical. The robust Cordura webbing and high impact injection molded battery housings are generally capable of withstanding years of rigorous usage.

The belts are available in various configurations. Beginning at 12V or 13.2V on through to 30V - all with 9.5Ah capacity. The 26.4 and 24 V Battery Belts are also available with switchable voltages. These belts provide outputs for either half the voltage at double the capacity on one specially marked output or nominal voltage at 9.5Ah (usually XLR 3 pin). Switching is achieved through a vandalproof switch. For security reasons, the output marked with the lower voltage will be switched off, when the high voltage is selected (usually XLR 4 pin).
