Properties:
This LCD DT-V monitor with 17" display conforms to the EBU Class 2 requirements in terms of colour space, gamma and gradation. They deliver the accurate reproduction of colour and HD image quality required for broadcast applications. This ensures that image quality created in the studio also reaches the final consumer. The monitor satisfies the specifications for brightness range and colour temperature. The two most critical factors, gamma and grey gradation, have also been improved over previous models to meet the demands of studio and professional application requirements. The 10 Bit IPS panel monitor has an extremely wide viewing angle, with excellent chromatic aberration properties - the 10 Bit processor offers improved grey shades and gradation. There is a contrast ratio of 1500:1, with brightness of 300 cd/m², thanks to the reliable and energy efficient LED backlight.
3G-/HD-SDI inputs including dual HD-SDI supportIn addition to regular HD-SDI support, the monitor has a 3G HD-SDI interface to enable 1080p (non-compressed digital video data) with a data rate of max. 3 Gb/s transfer.Presentable 3G-SDI signals are: 3G A-1 to A-4 (Level A mapping structure 1 to 4) as well as 3G B&B DS1-DS2 Level B data stream 1 and 2, and 3G B-DUAL Level B DUAL LINK.
On-screen functionsThe DT-V monitors feature an integrated waveform monitor / vectorscope and histogram, where you can display values for colour saturation, brightness and input signals. There’s also a 16-channel audio level meter, with status, peak and total value for each channel. The audio indicator has been added to the Lissajous figure for the representation of the phase difference and amplitude control. This "on-screen" function is essential for professional studio and post-production work.
