The Makito X Dual Channel Decoder Appliance delivers digital dual channel HD video to 3G-SDI and HDMI interfaces and supports all HD standards up to 1080p60. The Makito X Decoder is a unique addition to the Makito X Encoder and delivers H.264 1080p60 with extremely low end-to-end latency. The implementation of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) protocol transmits video content encrypted and ensures high quality even in congested or unreliable networks. The Makito X decoder offers packet loss recovery with forward error correction (FEC) and an adjustable receive buffer to match its performance in different networks. It has a network input, a HDMI output and two 3G-SDI outputs. It also provides the processing of data transmitted using the SRT protocol (Secure Reliable Transport). SRT is an open source video transport protocol that optimizes video streaming performance in networks. With secure streams and simplified firewall traversal, SRT delivers the highest quality video over the worst networks. The decoder is housed in a 1RU chassis.
