The d:mension™ 5100 is a mobile 5.1 surround microphone for recording full surround sound. The supplied 5 meter long cable (LEMO to 6x XLR) outputs the audio signals in five channels plus one additional channel. In addition to Left (L), Right (R) and Center (C), Left Surround (LS), Right Surround (RS) and even Low Frequency Effects (LFE) can also be used. A standard 3/8" tripod thread is located at the bottom of the surround microphone. The d:mension™ 5100 is especially suitable for sports events, documentaries or other TV productions and can be mounted either on a tripod or on the camera.
