Properties:

The MKH 8040 is a compact high-frequency condenser microphone with a cardioid characteristic for surround recordings and recordings in rooms with poor acoustics. The microphone has a wide frequency response from 30 to 50,000 Hz with a maximum sound pressure level of 142 dB. It operates on phantom power (48 V ±4 V) and has a 3-pin XLR connector. In addition to the XLR module MZX 8000, a microphone clamp and a windscreen, a high-quality aluminium transport case is also included.
