Properties:

The MixPre-6 II is a 6-channel audio mixer and recorder and the successor of the MixPre-6. Compared to the predecessor model, the MixPre-6 II convinces with a bit depth of up to 32 bit float for an increased dynamic range, faster and improved hardware, internal LTC timecode generation and output, adjustable limiters, backup function with USB thumbdrive and 10-second pre-roll buffer. The mixer has four mic/line inputs via 3-pin XLR / 1/4" jack, an Aux/Mic input via 3.5 mm mini jack, which can also be used for timecode, a stereo audio output (L/R) via 3.5 mm mini jack, a headphone output, and two USB ports. The USB-A port allows the use of keyboard, thumbdrive, or Midi user interface, the USB-C port allows the use of audio interface (8-In/4-Out), hard disk and power supply. The MixPre-6 II is powered either by the computer via USB-C, by four optionally available AA batteries thanks to the included battery slide MX-4AA, the included AC adapter with USB-C or one of the other optionally available battery slides. Recording is done on an SD card (SDHC / SDXC) and optionally simultaneously on a connected USB thumbdrive as a backup.
