Rain Slickers (RS) for Sony cameras are a customized way to protect the camera from rain, dust and snow. The Rain Slicker exterior layer is made from Nylon Taslan material and complemented by a soft tricot interior that will not scratch the equipment. The Taslan material is both waterproof (1000 mm waterproof rating) and breathable, which keeps the camera dry while also preventing the camera from overheating. The Rain Slickers have extra material that can be extended for additional protection. A clear vinyl window provides an unobstructed view of the controls and a quick-change rear panel gives you easy access to the battery compartment. The detachable front visor keeps rain off the lens. A triple-zippered bottom makes tripod mounting easy. Sony Rain Slickers can also be used on the shoulder or hand-held.
