The EOS C300 Mark III is a 4K cine camera equipped with a new 4K Super 35 mm CMOS sensor with Dual Gain Output and the DIGIC DV7 image processor. This allows internal RAW recording as 4K DCI with up to 120 fps on up to two CFexpress cards. The Dual Gain Output allows a dynamic range of 16+ f-stops. The EOS C300 Mark III also uses the modular system of the EOS C500 Mark II, making it compatible with the EU-V1 and EU-V2 expansion units, which offer several additional connectors and power supply options, and the EVF-V50 OLED colour viewfinder. The camera is powered either by the supplied rechargeable battery or the supplied AC adapter.

Properties EU-V2 Expansion Unit:
The EU-V2 is an expansion unit for the 5.9K full-frame camera EOS C500 Mark II by Canon. In addition to a V-mount battery plate with D-tap output, the unit adds a genlock / sync output, a remote control port (RS-422), an Ethernet port, two 3-pin XLR audio inputs, a 12-pin lens mount and a 24 V DC output. The EU-V2 is attached to the back of the EOS C500 Mark II and fixed easily and securely with screws.
