Canon EOS C500 Mark II

Properties:

The EOS C500 Mark II is a 5.9K full-frame camera based on the principles of the Cinema EOS system. The cameras feature a full-frame CMOS sensor with an effective 18.69 MP (17.52 MP at UHD or Full HD) and the DIGIC D7 image processor. The camera enables internal recording of video resolutions up to 5.9K (5952 x 3140 pixels) with 60 frames per second on two CFexpress cards. At the same time, proxy files can be recorded on a SD / SDHC card. The EOS C500 Mark II has a modular design. Two expansion units (EU-V1 and EU-V2) can be purchased, which extend the camera's functionality with Genlock / Sync, Ethernet or remote control. The high dynamic range of more than 15 f-stops (Canon Log 2) in combination with the image processor produce natural colour reproduction and soft skin tones. The debayering algorithm for playback of 5.9K content in 4K reduces the moiré effect and image noise. Video is recorded in either Cinema RAW Light or XF-AVC, audio in four channels as Linear PCM (48 kHz, 24-bit). Several autofocus variants are available for fast and reliable focusing, such as Dual Pixel, face recognition or one-push. The camera is powered either by the supplied li-ion battery BP-A60 or the 4-pin XLR input.
