The Sony BURANO is a CineAlta camera with an 8.6K full-frame sensor and an E and PL mount (detachable). It features a dynamic range of 16 stops, autofocus with phase-detection AF and Object Recognition with AI when used with compatible E-mount lenses. In addition, in-body image stabilization (IBIS) is available. The BURANO has a dual memory card slot for type B CFexpress cards and an SD card slot. This enables the simultaneous recording of X-OCN and proxies on SD cards. Internally, 16bit X-OCN LT & 8K XAVC H are recorded. The BURANO enables full frame recording at 8K 30p, 6K 60p and 4K 120p (S35). The viewfinder features 720p as well as a flip-up viewfinder magnifier. Connections like an HDMI type A and two SDI outputs (1x 12G, 1x 3G) provide more flexibility.
