Properties:

The Alpha 7R IV offers many optimizations compared to the popular predecessor Alpha 7R III. The camera is equipped as usual with a 35 mm full-frame sensor, which has an effective 61 MP. Using the Pixel Shift Multi function, 16 images can be combined for an extremely detailed image and thus images with approx. 240.8 MP can be created. The fast hybrid autofocus consisting of phase detection with 567 AF points and contrast detection with 425 AF points ensures a focused image even in poor lighting conditions. When filming, constant AF tracking ensures smooth and homogeneous images with constant focus. The Alpha 7R IV has a standard ISO range of 100 to 32,000, which can be changed to 50 to 102,400 in the extended ISO range. A 5-axis image stabilizer ensures wobble-free recordings. In the field of photography, the Alpha 7R IV achieves a maximum image size of 9504 x 6336 (3:2) pixels and in the video field the recording of 4K UHD (UHD-I) with up to 30p or Full HD with up to 120p is possible. The material is recorded on two SD / microSD memory cards (UHD-I/II) or transmitted via the video output (HDMI-D). The camera is powered by a supplied NP-FZ100 battery, which is recharged either by the supplied battery charger or USB-C in the camera itself.
