Canon Battery Grip BG-E22

The Battery Grip BG-E22 was specifically designed for long-term use of the mirrorless 4K full-frame system camera EOS R by Canon. The grip accommodates two LP-E6N or LP-E6 rechargeable batteries, which power the camera and can be charged in the grip using the supplied USB power adapter. In addition to a longer recording time, the handling of the camera in portrait format also improves. In addition, the battery grip has a PC interface to synchronize an external studio flash with the EOS R.
