This Qinematiq Smart Ranger 2 - Set consists of a Smart Ranger 2 - Measuring Unit, two Smart Ranger 2 - Tag Mini, a Smartwatch and a Smart Ranger Case. With this complete set, distances can be measured from the camera to a maximum of three targets. The results are displayed on the integrated 2.4 inch TFT display of the measuring unit and on the smartwatch. Autofocus functions can be used on the smartwatch, as well as general settings. The measuring unit's ultrasonic sensor measures distances of up to eight meters. For further distances of up to 20 meters (80 meters with a clear line of sight), the radio transponders (Tag Mini) are used. The integrated autofocus assistant takes over motor control and automatically sets the focus to the values stored in advance in the lens table. Via a standard Cinetape connection, the Smart Ranger 2 is compatible with all Wireless FIZ lens control systems.
