Zacuto Sony FX6 Z-Finder

Properties:

This Z-Finder has been specially designed to attach to the LCD screen of the Sony FX6 camera. The Z-Finder is an optical viewfinder with 2.5x magnification. An installed diopter without dioptric correction enables pinpoint focusing. Separate diopters are also available for dioptric correction, which can be used instead. The Z-Finder excludes extraneous light and provides increased stability when working with the camera with the eye pressed against the large eyecup. If the centre of gravity needs to be changed, optional extension frames can also be purchased that move the lens of the Z-Finder further away from the camera screen for users with farsightedness. The Z-Finder is attached to the camera's LCD screen via the flip-up mounting frame. For use as a shoulder camera, the FX6 Z-Finder Shoulder Mounting Kit is recommended, as only the Z-Finder cannot assume the correct position.

NOTE: The Z-Finder is a magnifying glass and as such magnifies the sun. Thus, the LCD screen could be damaged if the sun shines directly through the Z-Finder lens. This is not a defect, but a physical property. Care should be taken to avoid direct sunlight. Proper use of the supplied lens cap and sun mask drastically reduce the risk, but do not eliminate it.
