Properties:

The Autopod, manufactured by Polecam, is a programmable telescopic elevation unit system with one elevation unit for use with rigs, cranes, remote heads, PTZ cameras and speakers. The system consists of a lightweight adjustable baseplate on which the elevation unit is mounted. At the top of the elevation unit, either a V-lock mounting plate for attaching a camera is fixed directly, or additional height can be gained through the two spacer rods. An riser with 75 to 100 mm bowl or a flat 100 mm bowl adapter allows the use of a professional fluid video head. The supplied control unit connects both the elevation unit and the two controls (foot control pedal and desk control module). The system has an extendable height from 55 to 125 cm, which can be quietly adjusted via the controls. The desk control module has three programmable buttons for user-defined positions. If a second elevation unit is also purchased, the maximum payload is reduced to 25 kg, while the height range is extended to 110 - 250 cm. The elevation unit system is powered either by one of the three supplied power cords (EU, UK, US) or by 4-pin XLR with 24 V DC. The hard-shell case with two removable foam inserts reliably protects the Autopod and facilitates transport.
