The rugged, dustproof and splash-proof AXS-R7 4K External Recorder integrates seamlessly with the high-end CineAlta PMW-F55 and PMW-F5 cameras to accelerate 4K production workflow without sacrificing quality. Compared to previous Sony recorders, the AXS-R7 doubles the speed of 4K RAW recording from 60 fps to 120 fps for the PMW-F55 camera. When shooting at higher frame rates, the 2K RAW recorder records at up to 240 fps for the PMW-F55 and PMW-F5 cameras for 10x Super Slow Motion playback. The recorder uses AXSM A high-speed memory cards and has two slots for extra security and recording times. The recorder also offers 4K RAW cache recording of up to 30 seconds in standby mode. The durable metal housing makes the AXS-R7 the ideal companion for the PMW-F55 and PMW-F5 in the production of television series, documentaries or nature films.
